They added a gimmicky wheel slide bar, which look good, but adds little in the way of functionality. They were popular coz they were advertised like the fist of the north star (just an expression, not literally). The advertising was brilliantly effective. The product was average, and overpriced. IMO, anyway. Feel free to disagree.
